Linda Edna Cardellini was born in Redwood City, California, to Lorraine (Hernan) and Wayne David Cardellini who is a businessman. She has Italian origins (her paternal grandfather), Irish, German, English and Scottish (her mother). Linda was the youngest of four living in San Francisco Bay, California. She became interested in acting in the age of ten when she sang in the school's Christmas show. She went on to perform at school and community stage productions. Linda went to Saint Francis High School, Mountain View in California. After graduation, she was faced with an option. She was unsure if she should go to New York and pursue theatre or Los Angeles in order to pursue a degree in film and TV? When she graduated, she had decide whether or not to pursue a career in film or television in Los Angeles. Linda's first role was on the series in 1996 Bone Chillers. The role she landed her first big break on Freaks and Geeks (1998). Lindsay Weir was her character in the Emmy-winning series.

Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (born 5 April 1989), better known by her stage title Lily James, is an English actor from England. She received her training at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama and made her debut with the British TV show Just William (2010). After her successful performance as Lady Rose MacClare on the period drama Downton Abbey from 2012-2015, her first breakthrough role was in the fantasy movie Cinderella in the year 2015. James was then cast as the role of Countess Natasha Rostova as part of the adaptation of War & Peace (2016). She also starred in several films, including Baby Driver (2017) and The Dig -2021. We're Back (2019) as well as Yesterday (2018). The actress was nominated for the Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award in 2022 in her role as Pamela Anderson, the star of Pam & Tommy.
