American actor and musician Awkwafina began her career with hilarious songs that dealt with sexual identity and race with a the most outrageous comedy perspective prior to broadening her reach to Hollywood. Nora Lum was born to Chinese-Korean immigrants who resided in Forest Hills Queens. Her first exposure to music was from the trumpet.
